Camping
Hey friends! I am trying to convince Todd we should go camping sometime in September or October when it cools off, but he is convinced that camping in Kansas will be lame-0 (my words, not his!). Has anyone been camping anywhere remotely interesting in the area and would be willing to share where that is and what they did? We haven't been camping together EVER, but I figure if we camp in Kansas, things can only get better from there, right?

We went camping with some friends from the ward up at Fish Lake. Not much to see (I think we were on the more dried up side of the lake that time), but it's still fun to set up the camp, have some s'mores and tell ghost stories. Also, there's Clinton Lake near Lawrence - Jeremy took the girls there. Camping in KS is waaay different than we're used to (bugs, humidity, more bugs). have fun!!
