After an evening trip to the library tonight, we happened upon something that looked like fireworks to the southwest. We ended up at Topeka Bible Church on 11th and MacVicar. It was really great - you tune your radio to 89.9 and the lights that covered the south side of the building danced to the music (it ranged from Contemporary Christian Christmas to Manheim Steamroller Christmas to just plain Christmas music).
It's going on from 6-10pm until December 29th and then again from January 1-3. Go enjoy a neat light show for free!!
p.s. the parking lot was empty except for us and another car, so there's no big crowd or lines.
